The Rattery
NNOS was founded in 2005, initially started under the mentorship of another breeder. We breed for personality above all else, of course. While colors, markings, ear and coat types are taken into account, we won't breed 'just for looks.' Our goal is to better the Fancy by breeding rats with wonderful dispositions, as well as genetics. Currently we are mainly working with our dwarfs and harleys. The name 'Nezumi no Samurai' means 'Samurai Rat' in Japanese. As I am into the Japanese language and culture, it fit perfectly.

The Set-Up
Our Girls: We house all our girls in either Martins Highrises (three per cage) or Skycrapers (five per cage). The dwarf girls are housed in Highrises, with no more than three to a cage.

Our Boys: We house all our boys in either Highrises (two per cage) or Skyscrapers (four or five per cage). The dwarf boys are housed in Highrises, with no more than two to a cage.
